Buddha's Teachings

If I recommend one book for everyone in the world, it is "The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching" by Thich Nhat Hanh. Nobody would have done better than Thich Nhat Hanh of writing about Buddha's Teachings.

The book is very elegant and very simple to understand. He starts the book by "Buddha is not god."

There are two great teachers who came into this world to teach all human beings "How to live ?" They laid the principles to practice righteous living. They traveled around places and made disciples to spread their teaching.

But, You know what people did as time passed by. They made these teachers into "GODS." Worshiped them, but they forget all their teachings. They kept on going in the treacherous path of wrong living.

I could recall a story I read long back:

There was a Man who came from heaven to earth, to teach all men and women "How to make fire." The Man went from village to village to teach them about how to make fire. He gave they tools to make fire.

After sometime, some people don't like him, they stoned him to death.

As years passed by Temples and Churches are build for that Man. You know what people did ? In the high alter of the temple, they placed the Tools used by the Man and began to worship it, but they never used the Tools to make Fire.

It is the same case happened to these Divine Teachers.

Programmer's Quest

Today, I gave life to one of my long pending initiative. I wanted to create a Pure Programming Blog, so I created Programmer's Quest. I wanted to help all Start-up Programmers by posting Generic Programming Articles.

There was a old saying, I forgot where I read it:

"If you want to read a Book which is not available, then it is your duty to write it."

I apply the same to this blog. It will be want I wanted it to be. Here after, I will be posting all programming related blog posts in the new blog. I believe some people will happy to hear this.
