I have a (bad/good) habit of reading "The Quotes" written behind Auto Rickshaws. Some quotes are good, some are bad, some are ugly. But occasionally some quotes will shock you.
This particular quote which read yesterday, when I saw waiting for a GREEN Signal, shocked me.
The Quote is (in tamil):
"Dear Two Wheeler Friend, Please check your SIDE STAND".

Life and Time
Shiva sits in silent meditation on a snowy Himalayan mountain top. Suddenly there is a great sound. Nandi, Shiva’s bull, gets alarmed and asks, ‘Where is the sound coming from?’
Shiva says, ‘Ravana is born.’
After a while there is another frightening sound. Nandi asks, ‘Now, what is this sound?’
Shiva laughs and says, ‘Ravana has now been slain.’
This is surely a Zen-style story. This is the story of Life from the perspective of Time.

Apache Wedding Prayer
After a longtime, I'm back to my posting. As I have completed read "Wizard's First Rule", I started with "Eye of the World" from Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" Series. But I couldn't help reading "Stone of Tears" the second novel of "Sword of Truth". I just read one of its chapter. I promised myself that I will be completing "Eye of the World" before "Stone of Tears" because EOW is lying idle for a longtime, I bought it nearly 4 years back. I just want to finish it.
Apache Wedding Prayer:
Now you will feel no rain,
For each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
For each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no more loneliness,
For each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two bodies,
But there is one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place,
To enter into the days of your togetherness.
And may your days be good and long upon the earth.
